Spoilers ahead.
The director of Star Trek 2009 remakes Episode 4: A New Hope, with pointed commentary about erasing the prequels and reaching back to the magic of the Original Trilogy (the macguffin is after all, a map to finding Luke Skywalker).
Also the Supreme Leader looks like a combination of Palpatine and Yoda. That could be interesting.
